Gridiron’s Flow is a software platform that helps you manage your creative workflow by combining a versioning system with an asset management system … all in a clean, visually appealing interface.
This looks amazing to me. Too many times have I created _001, _002, _003 etc versions all with different assets in them only to come back weeks later and not remember where some of the contributing files were located. If you ask any 5 designers how they structure their projects, you’re likely to get 5 different answers … we all have our idiosyncratic ways. While Flow doesn’t necessarily remedy that, it sure does help you keep track of all aspects of your project.
I came across this sometime ago while following Mark Coleran, a designer specializing in motion graphics/GUI design for movies like The Island, The Bourne Series and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. He jumped out of the game for a bit to work with Gridiron in developing Flow (so you that should tell you something about Flow’s GUI).
