This is something I’ve been working on at work. If used, it will serve as a visualization aid for tradeshows. The world map and a few elements were created in Illustrator but the majority of the graphics were created in After Effects (in full HD). There are roughly 10 nested comps all being animated with expressions so there is almost no keyframing. It’s still early in development, I’ll post more as I progress.
